Local SEO & Google Business Profile.
Be the business Google shows first when someone nearby searches — Maps, local results, and “near me” — with a profile that actually brings calls and bookings.
Request the Revenue AuditA new customer does not search for your business name. They search for the service and the city: dentist in Pitt Meadows, home builder in Langley, clinic near me. Local SEO is the work of being the answer to that search, on Maps and in local results, not just on your own website.
What it actually covers
Google Business Profile setup and optimization — categories, services, hours, photos, posts, questions and answers, and a review process that fits the business. For regulated businesses the review process is adapted to the regulator's rules: where testimonial solicitation is prohibited, we do not solicit testimonials, and we build the process around what is allowed.
Location and service pages on your own site, one per area you actually serve. Consistent listings across the directories that matter, cleaned up where they conflict — because a business with three different phone numbers and two old addresses across the web is a business Google is unsure about.

Where it leaks without it
A business ranks for its own name but not for the service-plus-city search a new customer actually types. Or the profile shows old hours, no photos, and three unanswered reviews, and the customer calls the next listing instead. The website can be excellent and still lose, because the customer never gets past Maps.
How it connects
Local SEO feeds the website and the website feeds local SEO: the location pages on your site are the pages Maps and local results point to, and the profile is the proof that the business is real, open, and active. It also connects to reputation work and to paid advertising, which should never send a customer to a profile or page that is out of date.
What people are actually looking for
New customers do not search for your business name. They search for the service and the city, or they open Maps and look at what is near them, open now, and well reviewed. 'Dentist in Pitt Meadows', 'home builder in Langley', 'clinic near me' — that is the search that decides who gets the call.
Local SEO is the work of being the answer to that search, on Maps and in local results, not just on your own website.
What is working in 2026
An active, complete Google Business Profile. Categories, services, hours, photos, posts, questions and answers — kept current. A profile with old hours, no photos and unanswered reviews loses to a complete one, even if the business behind it is better.
Location pages that match real service areas. One page per area you actually serve, with real local content, not the same paragraph with the city name swapped. Google and customers both spot the swap.
Consistent listings. The same name, address and phone number everywhere that matters. Conflicting listings make Google unsure which business is real, and make customers unsure which number to call.
Reviews handled properly. For most businesses, a steady, honest review process helps. For regulated businesses, the process has to follow the regulator's rules — where testimonial solicitation is prohibited, we do not solicit testimonials, and the process is built around what is allowed.
What we have done
We have built local SEO for service businesses across the Fraser Valley and Metro Vancouver, including the location-page structure Zealous uses for itself — Vancouver, Abbotsford, Langley, Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows — and Google Business Profile work for clinics, builders and other local businesses.
The pattern is the same each time: profile fixed first, location pages second, listings cleaned third, and a maintenance plan the business can actually keep up, so the profile does not go stale again in three months.
What you get
Google Business Profile setup and optimization, with a review process adapted to your regulator where applicable. Location and service pages, one per area served. Citation and listing consistency cleanup. A maintenance plan for photos, posts and Q&A. And the listing record itself, in your accounts.

How AI is used — and where it is not
AI is used to audit listings at scale — finding conflicting names, addresses and phone numbers across directories — and to draft profile posts and Q&A answers from the business's real material, which a human then checks.
It is not used to write fake reviews, solicit reviews where a regulator prohibits it, or invent a location, service or opening hour the business does not have. Local SEO built on false listings collapses the first time a customer or Google checks, and for regulated businesses it can be a compliance problem, not just a marketing one.
Questions people actually ask
What is Google Business Profile, and why does it matter so much?
It is the listing Google shows in Maps and in local search results — often the first thing a customer sees, before your website. It shows hours, services, photos, reviews and a call or directions button. For a local business, it is effectively a second homepage, and it is where many customers decide who to call.
How many Google reviews do I need?
There is no magic number, and chasing a number is the wrong goal. What matters is a steady pattern of real reviews, recent activity, and replies to reviews — good and bad — that show the business is alive and responsive. For regulated businesses, the review process has to follow the regulator's rules first, and the number second.
Do I need a separate page for every city I serve?
One page per area you actually serve, with real local content. A page for a city you do not serve, or the same paragraph with the city name swapped, does not help and can hurt. If you serve five areas well, build five good pages. If you serve two, build two.
How long does local SEO take?
Profile and listing fixes can change what customers see quickly. Ranking movement in competitive local searches takes longer, and depends on competition, reviews, and whether the website and on-page work are happening alongside it. We do not guarantee a Maps position.
Can AI replace a local SEO agency?
AI can audit listings and draft posts, but it cannot verify your hours, your service area, or whether a review process is compliant for your regulator. Those are business facts, and they have to come from you. The agency's job is to turn those facts into a profile and pages that Google and customers trust.
Do I own my profile and listings?
Yes. The profile, the pages and the listing record are in your accounts, not rented through an agency dashboard you lose if you leave.
